Now here is something a little different from usual sci-fi stuff, as part of a potential commission I have to delve into the odd world of steam punk so as a test I painted this image just messing with ideas and techniques to create a kind of steam punk feel. Also I love airships hehe.

Both really, the Airship was done using 2 photos one of a ship and one of a blimp then painted in the ridges, ropes, sails and other details, the rest and majority of the image is done using custom shapes and normal brush work so really not all that much photo manipulation at all
