Another image based around my Citadel image, This shows a city from a high altitude where you can see a small part of the main tower structures. Lower down you are able to see the circular surrounding city regions gleaming in the sun and partly obscured by the heavy cloud cover.

Experimenting with reflective surfaces with this image and colour, much more saturated than my usual images. Its also 100% free hand, no texture work, just me and my wacom

Enjoy

It's an exciting and more than inspiring possibility that civilizations may be pentations of magnetude more advanced than our level of technological ambition, amazing.

Now this is great. The lighting of the atmosphere and the structure is amazing. The clouds look great and detailed. But there's something bugging me. Some of the smoke near the lower right could use a little more transparency. Otherwise it looks great.

Thanks, yeah there are a few things wrong with it, but it was generally done just as a lighting practice and clouds, kind of half way between a speed painting and a full illustration

Well if it was a practice, then you've pretty much succeeded in the lighting department. Although you do have some room for improvement in your cloud art, there isn't much to improve on.
