Here is the third image I have done working with Taitale Studios on their MMORTS game Novus Aeterno. Many people have been asking questions about the game "is it like EVE" "whens it out" "how much is it". Well I cant answer much except that aside from it being set in space it has very little to do with EVE, its a very different game its the first and only true MMORTS game as it has a persistent universe that never stops.
This image is my favorite, it shows a giant construction yard in space finishing off one of the dreadnought class ships, they are huge by the way. The ship is a tall ship but this POV really helped show its scale almost looking up at it.

For more info on the game and constant updates on the closed Beta head over to the games Facebook [link]

This is great. Do you maybe plan to do more? If you are still into space ship drawings, please contact me!

Classic Sci-fi art! Nice use of block shapes, shades, detail, and lighting to create the ship. Great perspective as it approaches the planet. Nice use of planetary glow and ship venting to give the composition some life and action. Amazing!

Yes a very similar technique using a combination of photo reference, texture brushes and normal brush work as well as custom shapes.
