Do first contact situation ever go peacefully? Of course they don't because that would be boring.
Anyway what your looking at is a first contact situation between the Humans and the first alien race to go into the game Novus Aeterno the Verunas. I have shown some of their ship designs recently and this is the first full illustration with them in so it was nice to paint something other than Human V Human.

The Verunas aren't very friendly they are the most advanced race in the game and they know it, they are big headed both physically and mentally.

Also this painting will cover a 20ft wall at out booth at PAX in April which will be rather cool to see.

they look nothing, like eve...
unless you compare the verticle ship to the minmatar naglfar dreadnought, but even then; these fire Lasers, not massive autocannons/arty

style is completely different aswell'
if your gonna critisize someone elses art for looking similar to anothers, at leaste do it with effort, proof and sound logic...

otherwise you just sound like a troll, whom an artist like this does not deserve =/

Artist doesn't deserve super nerd rant either.

Phendyl obviously meant that they look like Eve because many of them portray epic space battles which Eve is well known for.

As for the 'Super nerd rant', im sorry if your mind just cant handle this much detail in criticism...

He was more so implying that the artist was "stealing concepts and art" rather than saying "looks similar to awesome events in a game called eve", hence why I butted in annoyingly >.>;

After the first comment, what ever is in reply to the person commenting doesnt come up on the artists notifications either, so he's 'safe' from the 'super nerd rant'
