Sketch #2 about 40 minutes. Been playing Dante's Inferno and had to depict my version of the gate to Inferno haha. Tomorrows sketch, Paradiso, if you know of the Devine Comedy you should be able to guess the 3rd
Other than the fact that it bastardizes a great epic story and turns it into a dumbed-down "American" game, nothing at all. Seriously, why do people always do this in adaptations? One thing that is funny though, the Devil May Cry series has many references to The Divine Comedy, but it's both cool enough and so far away from the source material that it's all good.
Its the same with movie adaptions, you need it to retain the key points of the story but also make it more interesting, and shorter, with games its even harder as you need to fit in an interesting combat system. The game has its flaws no doubt but despite that its a rather good game. Also as its a western hack and slash you dont need to be some kind of god to play it, the problem I have with devil may cry and the new beyonetta is that its soooo hard, also the plot is beyond confusing. With Dantes Inferno they couldnt really make it just like the poem but they do manage to keep parts of it.
