Infinite Legends by AdamBurn Infinite Legends by AdamBurn
As part of a new series of personal paintings made for print I created this rather odd fight scene between an angel and a serpent, the idea was it,s being fought on the surface of the sun as you do, those large solar prominences that erupt on the suns surface take the form of these characters and duke it out, there is also some faint signs of ancient Greek architecture in the background, again pretty odd.

Enjoy :ahoy:

they are all painted yes, then copied and warped and transformed to create the overall shape

I guess you help yourself with Apophysis, Chaoscope or sth similar ... however do you use some blending techniques or just linear/color dodge blending modes ?

fair few fractals in there yes. With blending techniques it's mostly colour dodge and screen :ahoy:

wow, i was confused to what was going on here but the idea of a fight taking place on the surface of the sun is pretty cool.

You may think this painting is odd but it is great in my opinion.
