Into Hell , the marines of the UNSC are use to Hell by now, they fight with all their strength against an enemy of overwhelming power, yet they do not waver, they do not give in and they make the enemy pay dearly for every inch of ground.
A new Illustration for the Halo fan film, Operation Chastity, it was a great image to work on, so much to do and I learnt a lot, working with Pete again was great and this image wouldn't be half as good as it is now if it wasn't for his guidance and insight.
Image shows a squadron of Pelican drop ships coming in hot and under heavy fire, one Pelican was unlucky enough to get hit hard and loose both front engine, its now spiralling to the ground. Sitting quite calmly on the side is Private R.Savage, but is he calm? or shell shocked from his ordeal on the surface.
Staff Sergeant Neil Baker is kicking some serious ass with the Pelicans rear mounted HMG.

About a weeks worth of work on and off, about 40 hours in total.
