This rather fat looking thing is the Hulk, the Survivor faction skin for the Laminar class Human Capitol ship. They are jury rigging experts and despite the ships rather wrecked appearance its easily as effective as the default version, thanks to some creative welding the ship has more than enough armour to protect it from the barrage of enemy fire the ship was designed to take, its a tank designed to sit in the middle of a fight and use agro to force enemy ships to engage it rather than other weaker ships in the fleet.

Looks great. Reminds me of the reaver ships from Serenity.

One thing I'd have to question Phoenix: The inner innards of the ship are exposed to enemy fire. Indeed it looks like the engine and power core is (if that's what that glowy thing is) It looks really cool, but in my mind a stripped down / partially armoured hull is a feature of a fast strike ship, not one that's going to take the brunt of the fighting. Shots striking the exposed areas would wreck systems, and if one hit the engine... Ker-boom! Anyway that's just my opinion, I didn't design her.

No matter how much i admire you skills, i have to say that most of these ships are all long looking and makes it a bit hard to remember which one is which.

So far the 3 ships are long in style, this one is a little fatter, the Manticore is pretty unique in its design though. However rest assured there are going to be tons of different capitol ships and so we will be looking at every possible design orientation, these are just the basic 3 you can get hold of so far.

The survivors don't bother with a separate heating system, they remove their reactor's cooling system!

Though, they end up with terrible radiation burns. =P
So I'm sure we'll have to get Rodrigo and Daniel to draw them with loads of scrapped together clothing to buffer the radiation. xD
