YARGH!!! Me hearties we be implementing the Pirate Faction in the MMORTS game Novus Aeterno. The ship you see is the Pirate capital ship "The Booty Caller" its a fine ship and runs entirely on Rum so you need to make sure its well stocked or you may have a mutiny on your hands.
It's main weapons include Lazerz which the Pirates haven't a clue how they work but they aren't complainin, second are it's 2 huge 6000 pound cannons, they fire mostly giant balls of metal but they have been known to use small moons and other ships as ammo if they run low.
The ship was originally wind powered but they learnt quickly that the space ocean is a cruel mistress and never so much as blows a slight breeze so they stuck some engines on the back but kept the sails for aesthetic purposes.
An anchor was also attached for easier docking as well as a method of grappling other ships to begin boarding.
