The book contains 2 stories, one called the Lost Race and another called Voodoo Planet both are old school sci-fi originally released a long time ago, Voodoo Planet is more of a short story but both are enjoyable if you like your old sci-fi space opera stories. Not sure when it's due for release but either Baen Books website or Amazon will have details
Haha fancy that, I have been given so many photo references for work I never get them linked to anything, however like most of my reference material involving people I paint over it and manipulate it to a degree
Haha I understand and honestly had I known where they had originated I would have either asked the client or at least mentioned it but in my line of work that rarely happens, again I use a ton of reference materials, looking through my character references I see I have at least 5 of your images mostly used for torso manipulations, changing position of arms, legs and so on as I rarely use faces mostly because of this reason. If I do they are usually a mix of other references and painting.
Wow, nice cover art!! Interesting to see how different generations imagine these stories of the future, back when Andre Norton was writing, these books often had shiny three-finned cigar-shaped tailsitter rocket ships on their covers.
Holy, epic-ally magnificent! The Scenery is stunning and The Ships look incredible! The characters, expression, snow, mountains, ,movement, composition, weapons, ledges, lighting, colors, style, uniqueness, and other details are also wonderful! Amazingly beautiful work!
Now this is absolutely amazing. The texture, the lighting! It all fits so well together! I used to think stuff like this was impossible, but after some tutorials I found the basic concept on how to get the flow of artwork like this. I still have a long way to go before I get to this level, but its something I strive for. Thanks for being that symbol in the distance that I want to strive for. Keep up the amazing work!
