Iv'e been messing with new ship designs using custom shapes and a large selection of "ship components" I have been making for a while, basically just shapes which have been painted with basic textures and basic lighting, I have a load of them and simply select which ones to use then assemble a ship by free transforming and warping the shapes and adding perspective.

It's a fun method it's like building a ship haha and as my library of parts increases (I crop bits out of past images I have painted as well to use as components) the ships I can make become more varied. This one is based somewhat on that giant mechanical dragon I painted that's bursting through the clouds, this is essentially part of the same "species" and could be a larger carrier of sorts or a warship.. Basically I am not 100% sure but it looks cool right?
