A small group of marines make their way to towards the huge troop transport ship, USS Jackson, which is in "dry dock" waiting to take off. One marine stops and gazes at the ships sheer size.

I'm particularly delighted with the perspective and lighting of this piece. The massiveness of the ship in question, and the atmosphere of the dreary rain falling everywhere, creating a mist of splashes off of the soldier and his weapon in the foreground, all of it makes one terrific work of science fiction art
Curious to see what game this turns out to be as I'm not recognizing it, and if it lives up to your art.

Thanks :ahoy: sadly like a lot of independent game developers this one went the way of the Dodo, vanished and never heard of again. Still its a nice painting.

lol found out I somehow forgot to hit the "Favourite" button after first typing out my original comment :XD: This has been ammended!
But I know what you mean, I've stumbled across a few talented artists here with interesting pieces that spur my curiosity that they state as being linked to an independently developed game/movie/graphic novel and then as you said, they either don't pan out in the end or it's released into obscurity that I don't discover later or have to remember and dig for.
Oh well, as you also said, at least you got a nice painting out of it!

Sadly that died with the games it was originally painted for, I wasn't privy to much info other than it was a huge transport ship designed to carry huge amounts of people and supplies away from Earth as it was destroyed.
