Ugh, I wish I had a tablet ._., stuck with a touchpad that I can't paint with :'(, hurts my fingers >.<. Your stuff is pretty amazing, As a question, do you use multiple brushes to get lots of textures or just one brush. IDK what brushes to use to give what effects, it's so confusing :S.

what kind of photoshop is it? . i mean is it cs4 orrrrr? ... wow alot of ppl use tha.. ive been asking around .. im thinking about getting a tablet... i want to do stuff like yours but.. it so much money with paint and canvas .. and its hard to put in detail if unless its HUGE .. would you say that in all these things a tablet is superior to traditional (besides the raw experience of painting with real paint?)

I wouldn't go as far as to say one is superior to the other they both have merit, I have a long history of traditional art and then began digital art about 8 years ago and I would say that having an understanding of art is of course a must and traditional skills such as sketching and painting translate to the digital medium.
I'd say it's easier to have a background in traditional then begin digital but ultimately especially these days it's just as easy to go straight into digital I for one work almost entirely in digital but I always have a sketch book close by when I travel.
I first began using just a mouse and it's difficult but using a tablet is a must if you want to take digital painting further and more seriously, the amount of freedom it gives you is very nice but it takes a little getting use to but now I can't live without it :)

Digital also has other advantages such as speed, depending on how you work you begin to learn new techniques and short cuts that help create images, some people paint digitally much in the same way they would traditionally whilst other prefer to use more photo and texture reference's to create images and there is no right or wrong way of doing it.

Ow yeah and I use CS4 :ahoy:

wow thanks alot for taking the time .. this is helpful.. what kind of paint have you used? .. i only have a a little experience with acrylic ..for me its horrible to attempt to paint in acrylic for the kind of art you do.. and what i want to do.. cs4? .would your tablet also be compatible withe adobe 7?

No problem always happy to help out a fellow artist :) I mainly used acrylic back when I painted traditionally and it was difficult especially working with colour so most of my paintings were black and white and no where near the kind of detail I do in my digital stuff. I tried oil paints but since they take 6 months to dry I decided to throw that idea out of the window, water colours as well I never got on with mainly because they kept making the paper all wavy.
I presume my tablet works with adobe 7 I think they are compatible with all iterations of adobe and if out of the box they don't work you can get up to date drivers form their website.
